Madison Officials Gathered to Celebrate Madison Hospital
Julie and Mayor Paul Finley, Sally Warden, and Amy Furfori enjoyed an evening celebrating Madison Hospital.
Mayor and Mrs. Paul Finley, Madison officials, and hospital leaders gathered at the mayor’s home on September 15 to celebrate the progress of Madison Hospital. The event was the first in a series of cultivation events designed to build awareness and support for the new hospital, scheduled to open in February 2012. The Finleys said, “We were thrilled to have an opportunity to thank all involved with Madison Hospital and to bring about a greater sense of community to surround our new hospital.”
It is through the generosity of individuals, corporations, and organizations that Madison Hospital will be able to provide cutting-edge equipment and invaluable programs for patients in the community. The hospital, in partnership with its fundraising arm Huntsville Hospital Foundation, is already working with Madison residents to give them the opportunity to support their hospital. “We are honored to extend our healthcare services to the City of Madison and are excited to build relationships in the community. Together we are building a first-class hospital of which we can all be proud,” said Huntsville Hospital CEO David Spillers. The first fundraising effort is well underway and will provide a beautiful Healing Garden, approximately 2.4 acres in size, that hospital patients, families, and staff will be able to enjoy.
Our Foundation is YOUR Foundation!
The Foundation staff and Board of Trustees are eager to partner with residents, corporations and organizations in the Madison community to raise funds that will provide cutting-edge, lifesaving equipment and programs that will benefit Madison Hospital’s patients. With your generous support, we can set a new standard for clinical excellence and build a state-of-the-art hospital to serve you and your family. If you would like to support our efforts to raise funds for your hospital….if you know of a business, school, club or organization that might be interested in sponsoring a fundraising project or event….or if you would simply like to be added to our mailing list so that you will receive our newsletters and event invitations – then please click here.
Contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible, with 100% of all gifts benefiting the hospital program or department designated by its donors. It’s an investment that you won’t regret – and it could help to save the life of someone you know! Let’s join together and build a Madison Hospital legacy. Together, we can make great things happen!!
